Sometimes children don’t feel like breakfast but you need something to keep them going especially when they have to go to school!  My breakfast smoothie does just that.  Any type of berry can be used, fresh or frozen.  During the Winter months when soft fruits are out of season I use frozen berries which can be blitzed from frozen.

Makes 2 large glasses

1 sliced banana
140g mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
30g oatmeal or oats
200ml almond milk or milk of your choice

Place all the ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth.  Serve into two large glasses.
