This is my healthy version of butter chicken as it dosen’t include butter!  Feel free to add some!

Serves 4

2 tbsps tandoori curry powder
1 tbsp curry powder
1 tbsp garam masala
3 garlic cloves
1 tbsp grated ginger
1 tsp turmeric
1 large onion, peeled and quartered
1 x 400ml tin of coconut milk – full fat or light
200g greek yoghurt
600g boned and skinned chicken thighs cut into bite sized pieces

Add all the ingredients except the chicken into a food processor and blitz.  Pour into the slow cooker.  Add the chicken and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

Serve with basmati or brown rice, kachumber salad, naan or poppadums.
